Thanks very much Dennis. I'm treating it as a pre-sketch. I'll have a go at traditional media soon. And Carole S., I originally selected the reference painting for this and uploaded it by mistake, forgetting to delete it later. So sorry about that Carole but your comment was on the reference painting. My excuse, I was half asleep when I finished this at 4ish this morning.

Love the way you have done the beach, the different tones suggesting the contours, ripples and dunes in the sand.
