No advertising intended! I'd planned to paint a series of chocolate bar paintings but this is the only one I've done so far. I wanted a strong background to contrast with the wrapping and was originally thinking of a plain, black backdrop. But then I decided instead to go for a two-tone setting, red and white, to pick up colours that feature on the wrapping.
