Glad you finished it Keith, it's a credit to your hard work and perseverance.

Thanks Fiona, it was only due to people like you that I did finish it, I am glad I joined POL

This is damn excellent :-) fabulous infact :-) you are not just good at capturing planes, but people too, i like the crew's faces. I am really pleased you found time to finish this and i hope to see more soon :-)

Thanks Rebecca I am glad you made me finish it, my father was a gunner on Lancasters towards the end of the war I tried to find a picture of him in his twentys to include him in the crew but no luck. My next project is a commission of a 7 day old child, the shame is I dont want to do it but I dont want to disappoint the parents either, they are so happy at the moment. I will have to just think of the money it will equate to about £2 an hour, starving artist or what!!!!!!!!!!!

you have caught the crew for sure in this and love there different faces, just beautiful and so glad you finished it. i am newish here and i am glad i joined the POL they have given me confidence to bring the best out of me.and hoping more.

Pencil and crayon drawing size 23"x16" Another plane picture, I started this last year and have only finished yesterday due to the encouragement I have had from your comments on previous plane pictures. This is Lancaster G for George belonging to the Royal Australian Air Force. Part of 460 squadron it completed 90 operations before retiring in Australia where it has been preserved as a memorial to the Australians of Bomber Command. The crew were from a 1942 black and white photo. I wanted the drawing to be about the crew as much as the plane.
