Since I joined Painters on line everybody has been so kind to me, I was always so wary off of signing up because the quality of work was so good I didnt feel I was strong enough. You have all done my confidence the world of good, although I have been selective I do have a lot of rubbish as well..

I think we all have a lot of rubbish as well Keith! Someone told me once that you should never throw away the unsuccessful paintings because you learn from them. I take great delight and satisfaction in tearing them up. (Mind you - some of the torn bits can make very useful collage pieces in another work!). I am glad you decided to post your work - as you say, it is a great confidence booster to have the lovely comments and this painting really deserves them.
