Ropes and Netting
This is the result of a challenging exercise at my art group. Ropes, plastic netting, and wooden frames were thrown together to form an unrecognisable object. This was then drawn realistically in charcoal. From the knowledge of shapes, patterns, and colours gained, the abstract was produced. Maybe there is an element of cubic orphism in this painting, inspired by Chagall.
