Bluebell Wood

A delightful painting Barrie. So pleasing to the eye. Love the distant light which contrasts beautifully with the trees and bluebells. Its very frustrating when the painting doesn’t photograph how it really looks and I have been very despondent on some of my photographic results but I’m sure most of us are in the same boat.

Thanks for looking at my WIP Barrie, I see what you mean about shadow and light, this is lovely 👍😀

Pastel painting of bluebells in a wood. The green foliage in the foreground has come out blue in the photo, and I have been unable to correct this. The painting looks a lot better than the photo. I used a range of techniques including blending and scumbling. They were mainly Unison soft pastels and were o a Sennellier pastel card. Size 50 x 65 cm.
