The Floral Border and Pavilion. This pavilion is one of two 'pudding houses' set into opposite corners of the East Court at Montacute House. Their sweet toothed nickname comes from Tudor and Stuart times, when guests at montacute would retire here to enjoy their desert after their meal. The Scan of this picture has darkened the painting slightly.
