Lovely rose and if this a first attempt then you have done really well. I think your photo has bleached the colours out a bit and we may not be seeing it in it's full glory, but it is a lovely painting.

thank you very much for commenting on my rose..i enjoy doing flowers in watercolour, i find it very relaxing..also you dont have to be too accurate as my drawing needs a lot of practice!
