This is lovely, Kate. The whole composition just works. Agree with Lesley about the foreground. I like your other snowy one as well, but this has to be my favourite.

Love it kate. I love snow scenes. This is clear and concise in colour and composition. Great little painting. (I've been off scene for a while. Injured my right hand and arm in an R.T.A. (being right-handed it's the artist's worst nightmare!) so am finding it difficult to paint but trying again now. I was also inspired back to it by the recent snowfall and my first two attempts are snow scenes. Will be posting soon. jx)
