Hi Kate. I do like this; all your portfolio is beautiful, this is a little more conservative than the others, very nice balance of tones, and like the restraint in this instance...very calming. You bring your subjects to 'life' so well.

Ruth, i'm so embarrassed. I decided to put my paintings into different portfolios, little realizing that they would come up on the gallery page. I object to people putting so many pics on at a time and there am I unwittingly doing the very thing i crticise others for doing !!!

Hi kate, so sorry for having a go at you. Nice of you to take the trouble to explain. I have often thought i should clear up my portfolios too but realised the only way to do that is to post them all again. It would be good if the site had some way of moving images internally from portfolio to portfolio. Best wishes Judith

Getting the softness is a real achievement, I try but always get hard edges. very well done.
