The tan colours have come up as yellow on the scanner, and the others are not the same as the painting.

No matter about the colours - still looks good on screen

It looks fine on here.

Looks as if they have worked really well here. This is a charming drawing - so evocative of the wonderful expressions and gestures dogs make. You capture them so well.

Hi Karyl, nice one, not tried inktense pencils yet, but am having similar problems with othe coloured pencils, tend to use the white of the paper and emboss first, don't know if you can do this with inktense. If you try it let me know how you got on. Best wishes.

Hi Karyl this one is a real sweetie, and the colours are great buti know exactly what you mean about not being able to go over inktense pencils with other especially paler colours, when you have used them they have to be the final result, so I tend to use them for final darks around eyes or with the shade of red I have for final touches on lips or noses or final touches in hair or fur, hey nice one you getting a set of then given! I have been experimenting a bit lately with using aquatone pencils with them and then parts of my drawings into watercolours, that works well, I did that on my drawing of Princess Diana and also on the old Egyptian man with the characterful face especially on his blue robe to even up the tones in it and both those portraits have improved and certainly brighter tones in them now

Such a great expression on his face!

It looks lovely on my screen but your original must look even better when you have exactly the tones you wanted.

I think you have done a lovely job, love the expression!

I love it, in this picture colour is not so important as form and expression.

It looks super, Karyl, a delightful piece.

Was given a set of Inktense pencils, so far I find it hard to work with them, the colours show up different when you scan them, and you cant put white or any light colour over them, had to try to put the fine hair in with pastels. has anybody used these pencils for a whole picture?
