Yes, aren't they always! My dog has a long very squeaky snake which she insists on dragging into the sitting room in the evening for a game, usually when I am watching something enthralling on TV as well. Can't hear a thing once she starts, so have to give up on the TV programme and play with her. Thank goodness for iPlayer! Your portrait, once again, gets to the essence of the dog psyche and your skill in putting this down on paper just grows and grows.
