My dog is a real water baby so I see this expression all the time. Great picture.

Hey Karyl, you have got this one in just front of the latest multiple poster! This is so gorgeous of course, excellent capturing of this sweet little dog, love your note on it as well, super eyes and coat, back to the pencil for you eh, it was fascinating to see how you handled the white coat hairs in your inktense versions recently, this one really has got such a great little face x

lovely work Karyl .shame it has to move . pop it back on I dont mind .I waited for more posters to shift him but it was not happening .your drawing is so good it makes me pine for my sammy whome I lost a few months ago .

you really know your dogs. another delight.

Absolutely delightful - love that "get it yourself" disgruntled look!

Hi Karyl, I must admit you graphite work is superb, after reading that web site by Mike Sibley. I can understand where you are coming from. Would love to see you apply yourself the way he has. The only trouble with this type of media is the time involved. Tried looking at Jamie Boot's site but had problems opening them.

Wonderful expression, lovely drawing

Thank you everybody for your lovely comments, the colour will have to wait for a bit, back to my lovely graphite.

Ah, soggy doggy - just get out of the way when he emerges and shakes the water off. There's a lot to be said for graphite, isn't there?

Look like he is enjoying his dip, although he does appear to be thinking 'please don't throw that darned stick again', lol! Another great expressive drawing.

The expressions on your dogs faces are so well done I feel you really can read what's in their minds. This one made me chuckle:)

It beautiful, I love it !

Oh I love this one superbly drawn the look in his eyes is a treasure, reminds me of a golden retriever I once had, couldn't keep him out of water, though when he did get to dry land he would always find someone to shower.

I like this one very much Karyl especially the expression in his eyes, reminds me of a golden retriever I once had, a real jack the lad couldn't keep him out of water and when he did get out would always find someone to shower ( hope this comment gets through as its the 4th one I have tried? Dunno if its my system or POL that's at fault?)

Oh dear, Sorry Karyl forgot there was a page 2, oh dear oh dear, think I'll go and sit in a dark cupboard for a while
