Lovely little doggy in inktense Karyl, what a super little face! With gorgeous coat hairs of course as well, love the title as well and beautiful eyes, go you! There is no stopping you now you have discovered what fun these versions of coloured aqua pencils can be and what can be achieved with them, I have found a couple of online tutorials about them which were interesting as well and of course the recent competition from Caran D'Ache with their Museum Aquarelle pencils was in a similar vein as well and as the entries to that have now been posted in the features section on this site and seeing what entrants had achieved with some very impressive landscapes, considering only 6 of the pencils could be used for that, the entries have been quite inspirational, and some quite amazing work did not even make it through the selection process! Anyway I am rambling a bit here, but again really well done you Karyl xx

Again lovely work Karyl

Great title for a lovely little dog portrait, what a cutie :)

You really are doing extremely well with those new pencils now Karyl! Sweet little Nellie!

Great drawing - or painting? The boundaries are getting more confused every day - but I think I'd call this a painting; and it works very well.

Lovely little border Karyl, the eyes are very good.

Thank you everybody, wasn't really happy with this one, it was a commission , I get wound up when I do one for somebody else, and I'm never happy with it.

It's very well done, Karyl - there's lots of personality that comes through in the eyes and the pose.

Fabulous, the liquidity of the eyes and roughness of the fur is perfect

This is lovely. Great eyes. Sorry I'm late commenting. My internet crashed 2 weeks ago and only came back yesterday. I have missed this site.
