Sometimes a painting of mine is inspired by a persistent song in my head - an 'earworm' as I've heard it called. You know the sort ... it catches you in a store or on the radio then you're singing it for a week! In this case it was Cole Porter's Don't Fence Me In. So here it is ... "I want to ride to the ridge where the West commences, gaze st the moon till I lose my senses ..." ??
