Lovely sense of actually being there, Karen. The perspective of the stream trickling off into the distance, and the freshness of the foliage, and textured tree surface are brilliantly done.

(9.5 x 11.5 inches). I painted this from a watercolour sketch I did last month when walking down to our local beach, and my own photo. I found Jenny Aitken's tips really useful again, this time in the November issue of the The Artist. Jenny was using oils but I have used acrylics.
