Karen, I love the way you have handled the foliage to frame the view. The negative painting of the leaves etc is great......good variations of green too.

Watercolour and fineliner, 10 x 7in. I painted this in a new sketchbook today, (A4 Seawhite 350gsm). It's been looking at me for a few weeks now but I've been very restrained and have waited until I completed my old sketchbook!! This sunny 'glimpse' is of the Bristol Channel near St Donats from my own photo, it certainly wasn't in the sunshine this morning!
