Excellent detail in this, you captured the rocks and the subtle colour changes in the sea really well. Super seascape.

Really excellent work Karen, a fresh and breezy day well captured!

This is really good Karen

A super picture.

I could just sit there and take it all in. Reminds me of places near where I live, the N.E. Of England.

A beautifully painted seascape, Karen- particularly with the addition of the Thrift!

Super painting Karen.

Love how you have captured the surf so gently Karen. A very inviting scene so skilfully painted.

Thank you Andrew, Alan, Coral, Heather, Peter, Marjorie, Carole, Anne, Denise and Carole K for your very thoughtful comments. I did sit there for quite a while Majorie; it is a stunning place and very peaceful. I think it was the Thrift that really made me want to paint this Anne!

I am with you on the thrift. I planted some in my garden last year and have loads of pink flowers this year. I planted it to remind me of scenes like this on the granite coast. Delightful painting, Karen.

I like it Karen. A lovely part of the world.

They really do put on a good show don't they Linda, I might have to follow your example! Thank you for your comment too. Thank you David; and I agree with you, it certainly is.

This is beautiful Karen. I love the ripples on the water.

Thank you Spencer.

So colourful

Thank you Lynda.

Acrylic painting 12 x 16.5in. Llanddywn Island only becomes an island when it is cut off from Anglesey at high tide. The pink thrift was lovely when we visited.
