I bought a Hongdian Black Forest Fountain Pen Bent Nib Calligraphy Fude Pen from Amazon after reading Barry Herniman's article in The Artist May 2022. He said he got a mid-priced one for about £18 to try and was pleased with it so I looked for one at that price. He also recommended using carbon black ink. It's the only fude pen I've tried so I can't make a comparison I'm afraid but I have enjoyed using it.
