Clematis
It hasn't stopped raining for days, so annoyingly I can't paint outside. Despite the weather, my Clematis has burst into flower again. I couldn't resist painting these beautiful flowers albeit from photo's, but at least I was inside in the dry. Getting the right shade of pink was tricky so it was useful to start with a few quick colour studies. I also changed the positioning of the flowers to create a better composition. Great fun, but I hope it stops raining soon - I won't to get outside again!
