You have done this really well Julie.

Thank you very much Stephen.

Thank you so much Paul.

Love the face and the hint of moment about to happen.

This is wonderful. I was looking at the leaves wondering if they were prints and then read your comments. Ive got a new mixed media book to start and I will try this idea.

A very good mixed medium piece

Don’t know what happened to the comment I wrote yesterday but somehow it’s missing. I was very impressed to read that this is a monoprint. The colours are so skilfully arranged and the fox is excellent, especially how you have captured the startled expression. The eyes are magnetic and the colours of the fox are spot on. Wonderful work Julie.

Very effective.

Beautifully captured

Wonderful piece of art Julie.

Lovely work Julie

Thank you so much Martin. I think he was about to sneak into a fix run and steal some food!

Thank you very much Claire. Yes, printing with leaves is fun although they may not always come out clearly. If you struggle, you might try printing with acrylic paint?

Thanks Valerie. I’m glad you like it.

Thanks very much indeed Heather.

Thank you so much Carole. I’m glad you think it’s effective. Sometimes it can take ages for a photo to upload, but I’m not sure what happened to your other comment.

Thank you very much Jenny. I’m glad you feel it’s effective.

Thanks Beth much for your kind comment Lou.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment Carole.

Thank you very much indeed Petra.

Fabulous Julie.

Thank you so much Sandra. I’m glad you like it.

Thank you very much indeed Shaun.

I’ve been playing with mono printing again. I wanted to celebrate the last of the autumn leaves before the frost destroyed them and this beautiful red fox just emerging out of the wood into my friend’s garden ( where he has a number of specially built runs and underground dens for injured foxes), was the perfect subject. Having drawn him, I then made a monoprint using blue water based ink and painted into it with ink and gouache. I used real foliage to print the leaves.
