Really nicely detailed, but I love the clever background, so that the eye scans the foreground and then is taken to this 'extra' bonus., which has you looking quite intensely past the main feature. It holds interest for a long time.

Thanks Norman for your lovely feedback! I wanted to try something different,so the oriental wall-hanging was to hold it all together,take the eye through the painting,as you mentioned.It was quite challenging to paint,so thanks for your input.
