Thanks Karleen! I really enjoyed painting her,now my other grand-daughter wants a portrait! Sadly,she lives in another state,hours away by plane and car/train.

Thanks Angela,her eyes are an amazing aqua blue colour,but when I started to paint them,I noticed a lot of naples yellow flecks,which made such a difference when I added the colour. I sat her down next to my easel to my right,and placed a mirror behind me to my left,so she could watch the portrait progressing,and she didn't get too bored.Surprised that an 18 year old could sit still for such a long time,when I asked her to break,she was happy for only small breaks,I guess so she could be finished as soon as possible.
