This is probably going to be my picture for my calendar in December. I have got these flowers (Hellebores in English?) at the bottom of the garden but as we have had a lot of snow I chose to buy a pot plant and draw them in comfort- I used Derwent colour soft and Faber Castell polychromos on black rather thin paper. I mixed the pencil makes simply because I havent enough shades of green in one make.The picture is about 20 x30cms but I shall reduce it slightly when it is framed.
