You're 22? How dare you be this good at 22...! I like the fact that you've not fiddled with the foreground, and your sky is gorgeous - blue can be boring, but this isn't.

You have captured the drama and light wonderfully Josh. Have spent many hours walking on Dartmoor so brings back many happy memories.

You've certainly developed the drama, Josh, and have manipulated the light and dark scale with great skill. The sky has an almost overpowering, imposing presence, with the castle/church standing defiantly, like a sentinel. I particularly like your soft horizon and the muted colours you've used, just below, to emphasise the aerial perspective. Stark but captivating. Bri

Thank you Robert. The sky is something I certainly enjoy painting and love experimenting with to add to the atmosphere of a painting.

Thank you Carole, Dartmoor is certainly a special place and somewhere I love to visit to gain inspiration for my artwork.

Thank you very much Brian. I love to use the sky not only to add drama and atmosphere to a painting but also to highlight the focal point of a painting.

You have certainly captured the drama and atmosphere Josh. Your design and application are top notch excellent work.

Thank you very much Barry, much appreciated.
