A really lovely portrait of your daughter Julie, she must be thrilled with it. I love the sepia like palette and you have painted the skin tones, light and shadows perfectly. Excellent!

Thank you so much to everyone for your kind comments. My daughter 'appreciates the quality of the work but does not like the subject'! The painting was intended for myself - I shall hang it in the bedroom so that I can see her when I wake each morning, One of these days I will paint a portrait of my son - if I can only make him sit still long enough for me to take a decent photograph to start with!!
