Thank you to everyone for your encouraging comments. The hellebores have been super this year - in particular the new double ones I purchased as baby plugs last year. I have a selection of pretty hellebore heads floating in a bowl on the table at present - a good way to appreciate them.

Another painting of hellebores but this time from a photograph that was first 'posterized' in Photoshop Elements. As a result, I have painted it a little more freely than previous images of hellebores. It was fun to try something a little different.
