Wow! This is excellent Julie. As you say it is interesting to create a painting on th iPad and then paint it in your chosen medium but I must confess, in my case, I prefer my iPad version! I still haven't got to grips with the layering but have bought a stylus which gives you a bit more control than a finger. Look forward to seeing more.

Hi Julie, I got the TRIXES HQ STYLUS PEN from Amazon, it cost about £5 but I think it is now out of stock. My son got the same one from Play.Com. I would definitely recommend it.

I like the light and dark shades in this. THis is a good one to do in oils. Well done !

We obviously are drawn to the same style of art Julie! I also have her book it's lovely isn't it. Did you know she, Mark Hearld and Emily Sutton are exhibiting at St Jude's in the City at The Coningsby Gallery, 30 Tottenham Street, London from 23rd May to June 2nd?

In response to Christine's suggestion, I have re-created my daffodils painting on my iPad. This is the first time I have really used the Brushes app and I have still got to get to grips with 'layers'! I enjoyed doing it and it will be interesting to paint first on the iPad and then make an oil painting from it. All in good time!
