I have just finished this at an art class I attend. The tutor set up a scrappy piece of carpet on a board and I had to draw it, and then create a narrative around it! A bit out of my comfort zone! I decided I would make it look as though I was just going out to do a spot of gardening - or had just come in from same! The carpet section is on acrylic paper mounted onto painted mount board and measures about 60 x 50 cm.
