This is a painting just completed as a Christmas present for my partner's daughter who lost a much loved rescue Greyhound that she owned for a number of years. I am not really a dog person but Mission was a gentle giant, we all miss him. The backdrop was also significant as the original photo was taken whilst on holiday and it was also their first anniversary together. I hope she likes it but I will expect some tears as she unwraps it on Christmas day!
