This is the second painting on this canvas, the effect is acheived with many layers plus post production use of high pressure water jets to remove excess paints. I use a lot of acrylic inks, running them down the canvas, then washing off the ink when only a part of it is fully dry. this gives the very distressed appearance. there are also strokes from a black permanent marker pen to represent something or other.
