Stunning effect!

I love this. Very interesting. It sounds as if it took ages, but it looks well worth it.

A large acrylic paint and ink piece, many layers of acylic ink applied generously with a sponge, and allowed to partially dry at each stage. You can see that green washes using acylic inks were run in both directions after each one had dried. Some of the original acrylic paint always runs with the inks, a melding of the paints. Then the entire painting was covered in a vast puddle of warm water, metallic inks and green inks, a soup. It took days to evapourate and the resultant blending and tinting (from the metallic particles) created a lovely warm picture. (This picture can be re-created for sale [email protected])
