Love the rugged look of the landscape John, the red flowers add that something extra.

Thank you Fiona. I’m pleased that you like the red flowers but I still wonder if they take away from the bleakness which was the feeling I had for the area.

I don’t think it takes anything away from the atmosphere you wanted to create John. You still have that moody and overcast sky, the twisted branches and twigs of the tree on the lane and also the leaning fence posts.....they all speak of a wild and bleak landscape.

Very atmospheric - love it!
