I was breaking up a large cardboard box for recycling when I thought it might make a good surface for painting. This imagined geological section was the result.

I enjoy painting with acrylics, pen and ink and sketching with pencil. I trained and practiced as a Geologist so I tend to be detailed and constrained. Working on “loosening” up.
