Three years ago we planted the Camellia “Yuletide” that promised bright red flowers in the depths of December. Other than a few rather sad looking buds, there were no flowers. We moved it to another spot, still no flowers. Then, a couple of weeks ago, it started budding and flowering - as of this morning there are a dozen blooms. Pen and ink on 6”x8” paper. I enjoy painting with acrylics, pen and ink and sketching with pencil. I was born and grew up in England where I trained and practiced as a Geologist working in the UK and overseas. Currently retired and living in the Pacific Northwest.
