Just about all the maple trees in our neighbourhood are a variety of oranges and yellows but there is one that is a striking red and has a wonderful shape. I decided to try painting just the basic shapes. 8x11 on primed card.

I enjoy painting with acrylics, pen and ink and sketching with pencil. I was born and grew up in England where I trained and practiced as a Geologist working in the UK and overseas. Currently retired and living in the Pacific Northwest.
