Our daughter sent a photo of a young heron hunting in the riverbank. He was so focused that he was completely unbothered by the humans watching him. Pen and ink on 14cm x 22cm mixed media paper.

I enjoy painting with acrylics, pen and ink and sketching with pencil. I was born and grew up in England where I trained and practiced as a Geologist working in the UK and overseas. Currently retired and living in the Pacific Northwest.
