The Ring tailed Lemur is one of a number of Lemurs, all of whom are in danger of extinction. Because I use photos as a resource, it is easy to copy what you see. I am trying to add more realism as photos can often gloss over an animal and they can look too well groomed! I have added some impasto to the white fur on this painting, which also, I think gives some 3D effect.
