I really love this, it’s so powerful.

Music to my ears Elaine 🤗🤗

Well done for finishing it, John..it was certainly worth it

This is superb and painted beautifully.

Kate and Dixie- thank you for your kindness 🙏🏼🙏🏼

So sorry to hear there's some sadness behind this but it is a beauty of a painting John

Heather, thank you 🙏🏼 For me, a painting without emotion is just a spillage x

This is superb artwork John.

Stephen, you just put a smile on my face 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

That’s a big beast and the painting is excellent John.

Tessa! I’m always delighted when you comment 😊🙏🏼

I hope your sadness will soon be replaced by peace John and returning to painting, which is a personal joy will help. It’s magnificent!

Fiona, thanks so much! Painting gets me through so many things 🙏🏼

Hope things pick up for you soon John, painting is a constant healer (when it's not driving you mad!) and you have a fabulous result here.

I am always impressed by your work John and this is no exception.

A wonderful painting, I sincerely hope the sun will shine for you again soon.

Excellent painting.

Denise, Valerie, Sarah and Diane, thank you! I'm very grateful for your kindness. I started this painting on the day my dad died and found finishing it hard to face. I'm glad it is done and feel more like my old self again :)

Sorry for your loss John and well done for finishing the painting. I can still remember the stage I was at in the book I was reading when my mum died and that was 9 years ago! I still haven't finished the book, maybe it's the thing to do!

Beautiful brushstrokes.

Thanks so much Sarah. Gosh… wether to finish the book or not is a tough one… I kinda think I would in the end 🤗

Rachel! Thank you, glad you like the brush strokes 🤗

Wow, really like the industrial feel of this.

A triumph John - in many ways.

Coral, Jill and Marjorie- I’m so grateful for you kind comments and delighted you like the painting 🙏🏼

Really imposing and great colour.

Thank you Leslie, when you get the chance to use bright saturated colour you have to jump at it 😊🤗🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I’ve been a little reclusive of late but I’ve thought constantly of painting. This painting was started on what is turning out to be one of the saddest of my life- it’s been tough to finish but I promised it to someone very special. So here we are 🙏🏼😊
