I think you’ve got the sense of a deserted place, like the outback, John. I can imagine myself standing there with only the sound of insects perhaps. ( I’ve been in the outback, it felt quite primeval - or what I imagine primeval feels like, if you know what I mean🤨)

Thanks for the positive comments ! I somehow felt that it was easier to get the feel of the place than with other landscapes I have done. I don't know why and I wait to see what happens with the next painting....
