It was, if you could put up with the ghastly poetry readings in Hannah Gordon's worst "I'm an Actor" voice, a useful programme - but it did veer toward the twee at times. However, the painting exercises were good and challenging. Two very different interpretations - I shall not come between partners by saying which I prefer, but they both have different strengths - some good layering and blending of colour in this, and I do like the further house, it just seems to fit, as it were.

Thanks for comments Robert. Looking at my original again, maybe I could loosen-up a bit. Best wishes for 2010. J.

W/C 9" x 11". From exercise in the "Watercolour Challenge" course folder, published at the time of that late lamented programme. My partner has also tried this exercise.
