I meet many lovely customers at art fairs but also quite a few people who I think just come to heckle. Someone who saw this picture at my stall at an art fair said: "It looks like an alpaca," Luckily the person who bought it thought it was definitely a dog. Now whenever I post a new pet portrait on Facebook one of my friends puts a comment that says: "looks like an alpaca to me."

I am a painter and printmaker. I use watercolours and oils and also make hand-pulled prints using linocut and etching. I love cats and they crop up in a lot of my work. I have exhibited with the Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries in London and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
