I can't help sending my compliments on this. There's a reeling, dizzying, inebriating effect to it that I find irresistable. The dog's-eye view perspective no doubt, but much else too. Great fun - and oh, I know what it means when a scottie does that: reminding you who's boss and whose quality time it is anyway!

Thanks for the feedback Kim. I have only just discovered this website with its gallery facility. I have been working in isolation for years! You sound like you may have owned a scottie?

These paintings are wonderful. Love their energy and lightness. Really well done.

Great perspective on those houses, and a marvellous sense of the place with the energy and light. Lovely

Love all Jessica's work, it is such good fun, you would never be bored looking at these paintings.

Yes Jessica, we had a few when I was a boy, and though that's 30+ years ago now, you never forget how delightfully cussed they can be. And just to remind myself, we've now got a smooth-haired fox terrier (or does she have us?) whose temperament is pretty scottie-like! In two brushstrokes you've caught him perfectly.

I have to say I love your paintings ,just to see the leaning buildings gives me a delightfull feeling .artistic licence at its very best ,thanks for showing them .ten out of ten ,my favorites out of all paintings On leasure painter ,been shown to date

Many thanks for such positive feedback. It is much appreciated.

I was commissioned to do a painting of 'Jane's House' in St. Mawes. Cornwall. It was one of those days with brilliant blue sky against the white house which you only seem to get in Cornwall. The light is so amazing. Couldn't resist putting in my little scottie, Charlie
