That's what happens sometimes Jennifer when you get enthusiastic. You want to see what it will end up like. It is looking good. It's feathering looks so soft!

You are so right, Adele. I do get over enthusiastic! and it is such a beautiful bird that I really want to do it justice. Thanks Carole, still lots to get on with though.

Lots still to do with the gorgeous eagle, but I am at, what I call, my 'dabby' stage. I am so eager to progress I start to work all over the painting instead of 'slowing down' and concentrating on an area at a time. So decided to post it so that I 'stop'!! will work on again tomorrow in a more orderly fashion!!!
