Pleased you like her, Linda, Carole and Ruth. It was the comment that was put on my 'Cheerful Old Lady' that inspired me to paint her - I am so glad I took the trouble to research her - what a wonderful lady she is!!!

Read in the paper that it was Jean's 95th birthday back in June, so I sent it to her, via the Hull Newspaper, as a present. I hope she received it!! Hopefully it made her smile as well!!

Never been to Hull or met Jean, but found newspaper articles and TV interview on line. What a wonderful old lady! Reminded me, very much, of my mother who I cared for until she died at 99yrs. Hope you like her Peter!
