Absolutely beautiful, Jenny! A beautifully posed bird, standing starkly in contrast with the lovely textured backdrop - so very effective and elegant. I just took some photographs of an Asian Glossy Starling which is totally black and had no idea what I was going to do with it. Your painting has just inspired me to make an attempt on him!
