Jenny, this is inspirational. I don't know why you are hesitant about it; it works!

James has said it. Keep doing it as this is fabulous, inspirational and all those words. The light you have created it fantastic. A body of work with these quink paintings, figures and Scenes of Hastings, environs and the like will be sensational.

Jenny yet another interpretation of the Stade. This is wonderful and the technique has certainly worked. I know you use this technique a lot but where did you learn it?

Thank you James and Gudrun. When I'm playing around with a new medium I like to try it for a variety of subjects, still suspect that this works best for very simple subjects. I think I will try it for trees though, it might work for trees. Thank you Carol, it is a new technique for me, have only been messing with it for about 6 weeks, I didn't learn it - that's the trouble - I saw it used by a very good artist quite a few years ago and thought "I like that, must try it some time" was busy with other things at the time, forgot all about it and it just popped into my head again recently. Wish I could go back and see hers again, see what she did, hers was lovely

Just magical Jenny!

How unusual, it works really well and the boat is lovely :)

Nothing to say but STUNNING!

Quink & Miltons - apart from sky which is just quink and a lot of water. 20" x 11". Decided to try the technique on a 'scape', Hastings, not sure about it, maybe it is best for simple subjects
