I really like this composition Jenny, lovely colours

I like your signature red here again, and the red tinge glow on the other tulips. I have just bought some cheaper oil pastels to try and use with mixed media. This looks great on canvas Jenny.

I was using cheaper (Daler Rowney) oil pastels but the sennellier are a different thing entirely - sexy, creamy softness which made me want to try on canvas but even so it was a bit like hard work and I was rubbing my poor fingers down to bloody stumps trying to get it into the grain. Then I discovered the colour shaper.! Can't find much information or hints & tips on use of these things so it is learning as I go along...

I agree with Petra and Carole, Jenny. This is again one of your very special, great works. I recognised the red and knew immediately it was yours. Well done!

Never though of the colour shaper for oil pastels! you mean the rubber tipped tool?
