Thanks, Adrian! Funny you should say that - this was partially inspired by one of my favourite 70's artists, Roger Dean, who was probably best known for designing the album covers for Yes - a lot of his work was fantasy based.

Mixed media collage. I started this intending to try a Soraya French style abstract landscape but after adding a coat of acrylic ink to a gesso base I saw a castle in the sky and forgot about the abstract landscape I was going to do. I had to work this out as I went along - but that's the fun part of doing collage!
