Gosh Jenny, that must have been hard with all the lines, good work.

What patients. Wonderful piece.

A simple concept, allowing the stripes to form the shape, but really difficult to get right. Superb work, Jenny.

Thanks very much Margaret, Rebecca and Lewis, for your welcome comments (and, yes, it was quite tricky with all those stripes, but I didn't do too much in one go this time - the last one gave me a nasty bout of eye strain!)

Nice fluid lines. Such a good composition.

I do remember your previous versions Jenny, fascinating stuff.

Many thanks, Ibolya, and Alan thank you for commenting on this one even though you've seen the previous versions - I won't bore you with any more, though, this will be the last!

A stunning painting, Jenny. I love Mayan Blue as well.

Thanks, Ellen!

Thank you, Carole!

This is such a classic image Jenny. It’s crisp and clean and very well done.

Thanks, Fiona. I quite enjoyed doing this one, having learned from mistakes on previous versions, but don't think I'll be doing any more! (I actually found it easier using a NOT paper this time, the previous two were done on HP.)

Many thanks, Dennis!

I have painted two previous versions of this in different colours which I wasn't very happy with although it was through the first one three years ago that I first discovered POL, so it's a bit of a favourite! This was painted in a Daniel Smith colour which I really like, Mayan Blue Genuine (one of their Primatek colours).
